Only one Miranda Priestly necklace (Editor in Chief of Runway, played by Meryl Streep) cost $100,000.00 Throughout the film, Meryl Streep sports more than 60 costumes all chosen by famous stylist Patricia Field (Sex and the City). Although the film is about the world of fashion, many designers and celebrities were silent about it, fearing a scathing rejection by the U.S. Vogue Editor Anna Wintour, who, as we know, is the prototype protagonist Miranda Priestly. Wintour later said that she liked the movie and Meryl Streep in particular.
