What is your all time favourite moment in gaming?

“The most satisfying thing I have ever experienced in gaming, and it happens everytime I finish it, is the ending of Super Mario Bros 3. That does it for me. It has possibly the most perfect ending soundtrack. The best writing, making self-aware jokes about the Princess being stuck in another castle. And a freaking montage of what some of your most heroic moments were, kinda. Aside from personal experience I’d say the biggest and most favorite thing I’ve seen in gaming culture is when the N64 released. Everyone was so excited and being a 90′s kid you can bet I was too!”

If you could choose to live in any game which game would it be?

“You know, after looking at all of the previous answers I bet you would be surprised if I answered anything except Super Mario. We’ll time to throw a curveball. I would love to live in either Pokemon or Scribblenauts. I’ve been a big animal lover and Pokemon would be a great fit! Scribblenauts, you write a word that thing appears and comes to life. So cool.”

In your typography video game art you always mention the creator of the game. Why do you do this?

Kody
“It’s to pay homage to a person who created something that has inspired me. I always want to honor the minds behind the things that made up my childhood.”

What would a dream project for you be?

Kody
“My biggest dream has been and always will be to be an ambassador for Nintendo World. Or at least get to work with it in some capacity. Advertising, art direction, infographics. Anything that would allow me to express myself and my love of Nintendo.”
