When I first heard Fleshgod’s first release, Oracles, I knew they were up to something special. Incorporating blistering speed, technical arrangements, and even catchy hooks, Fleshgod Apocalypse has roused millions across the globe with a sound as unique as their theatrics.

We met up with their guitar player, Cristiano, at the 2012 Heavy TO music festival to discuss the foundation of their music, and how extreme music has impacted his life. Heavy music speaks to Cristiano in a way that he couldn’t describe. After all, isn’t music indescribable? Cristiano’s well-mannered, almost eloquent demeanor may be a shock. The real shock comes from their live performance. Needless to say, My ETV full endorses Fleshgod Apocalypse as an extreme band to see.
