Posted 11 years ago by myetvmedia

March 2013 will be one of the most exciting months for gamers in years, but the feast is not over. The most anticipated game this year is probably Grand Theft Auto V to be released on September 17th. The last GTA title sold over 25 millions copies. Here’s a look at the top games in Part 5 of myETVmedia’s list for 2013;

Beyond: Two Souls (SONY, PS3 exclusive, June 30)
Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Blacklist (Ubisoft, Aug 20)
Grand Theft Auto V (Take-Two Interactive, Software Sept 17).

Beyond: Two Souls (PS3 exclusive) – June 30

What the critics say:

“Beyond has split opinion among some editors at GameSpot, but the reaction has been mostly positive, especially from those who enjoyed Heavy Rain. There’s no doubt from the demo that Beyond will be more action-based than Cage’s previous game–as the man himself says, “Whereas Heavy Rain was close to something like Seven, Beyond is different in style and tone and genre.”       - Guy Cocker – GameSpot

Publisher: Sony. Since the announcement trailer was released, this game had our attention. This is the second Quantic Dream game on the PS3, also directed by David Cage and it’s another Interactive Drama game but it will be a Psychological/Spiritual Thriller this time.  You will be in Jodie Holmes shoes, a young woman with a powerful, ghostly friend. The troubled young girl is on the run from the government, and the unseen threat called Idan, defends her from the deadly attackers. An intriguing story that begs the question of what happens after you die. Guaranteed to push new limits of the game industry.
