Rust and Bone Review

Posted 11 years ago by myetvmedia

The soundtrack is a mix of pop tracks: Katy Perry, Bruce Springsteen, the B-52s and a conventional orchestral score by Alexandre Desplat (Nominated for the best World Soundtrack Awards / Soundtrack Compose of the year).

Rust and Bone is a new monument of the French cinema that captures sensual, intellectual and physical emotions, a sort of ideal of cinema that only a few filmmakers in France would be able to showcase. Audiard did surpass his previous creation but the most impressive thing about Audiard as a director, is that his style is continuously evolving.
