RE4 was so good its design was again used for the games sequel Resident Evil 5 which was released on the Xbox 360 and PS3. RE5 was a good game but did not quite live up to the excellence of RE4, it just included a bunch of new elements (new is crucial in a sequel) that did not mesh well with the survival horror nature of the series making the game feel like more of a standard shooter. Resident Evil 4 is a classic and if you have not played it on the Game Cube, PC, Play Station 2 or the Wii version then I strongly recommend you hit up the HD release when it hits later this year as it is the definitive Resident Evil 4 experience and will include all the new play station 2 content in glorious high definition.
