Graham Douglas Bertie aka Nautiluss, has moved far and away from his former band, Thunderheist to become a beloved household name in Toronto. Nautiluss’ debut single, “Ultraviolet/ Bleu Monday”, was released to rave reviews in 2011.With melancholic beats that range from dubstep, house, techno and beyond it’s hard to clearly define what Nautiluss is, but whatever it is – we like it!

Shlohmo

When LA based Henry Laufer aka Shlohmo released his remix of Drake and The Weeknd’s “Crew Love” everyone lost their minds. Shlohmo’s lo-fi vibes of sensual trip-hop and abstract hip-hop are easy to get caught up and lost in. This 19 year old’s star has been quickly rising since the release of his record Bad Vibes. This is Shlohmo’s firstMUTEK performance but doubt it’ll  be his last.

Cinechamber is a totally awesome, innovative and immersive audiovisual visceral experience that’s going to cause a stir. There are 10 wrap around screens and 40 speakers built into the wall. This video installation immerses viewers into the sounds of live artist residencies, concerts and studio source sessions combined with colourful images and features from over 50 international avant-garde artists.
