Head shots, murders, blood-baths all in 3D, what more can one want in this type of fantasy, sci-fi thriller. There is some epic slow motion photography throughout this film that is really spectacular. It is used to visually show the effect of the drug being sold by Ma-Ma’s crew. I wouldn’t go see this film for the story, because truly we’ve seen it before. But it’s a really fun time at the movies. If you are at all squeamish then stay far away. But if you’re not a fan of Dredd, why be reading this review anyway. Dredd 3D was shown appropriately during TIFF 2012’s Midnight Madness programming.
Dredd is back!
