Have you heard of the Next Wave Film Festival? This is a really exciting, new and innovative film festival for young cinema lovers, hosted at TIFF Bell Lightbox February 15^th -17th in Toronto. This exciting new festival introduces 15 films from around the world for youth (14 to 18 year olds) and in some cases films made by youth. The Next Wave Film Festival will be showcasing classics like The Breakfast Club and Ferris Bueller to moving contemporary documentaries, this festival has something for everyone.

Our official pick for this year’s festival has to be the hilarious Dead Before Dawn 3D produced by April Mullen and Tim Doiron. Starring Christophe Llyod (Back to the Future, Who Framed Roger Rabbit) and Devon Bostick (Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Being Erica), Dead Before Dawn 3D is the first 3D Canadian horror movie. So go out and have some fun at the movies.
