If you haven’t already checked out Part 1 of Pure Speculation: XBOX One’s 15 Exclusive Games then you’re in the wrong place. Go read that and then come back here.

With E3 quickly approaching gamers minds are focused on one thing and one thing only – games. XBOX’s much talked about press event did little to help relieve the stress of anticipation many gamers feel in regards to the next generation of video games. Microsoft teased us with an announcement of 15 exclusive XBOX One titles, 8 of which are brand new IP’s. Then sticking to the theme of their event said more information would come at E3.

Well some of us can’t wait that long. Below is part 2 of exclusive titles that may come in the first year of XBOX One.

7. Crackdown 3

This guess is a bit of a long shot but one worth discussing. The original Crackdown was made by Realtime Worlds but they closed in September 2010. Ruffian Games made Crackdown 2 however, they seem to be working on a PC, iOS game called Tribal Towers. So why did it make the list? Because during the XBOX event for a very brief space of time in the corner of the big screen a Crackdown image was visible. Many speculating fans out on the interwebs see this as a subtle Crackdown 3 tease. I always felt that Crackdown was always on the border of awesome. It always felt that there was some factor missing in either the world or the gameplay. That aside it was ridiculously fun to power up your character in this open world. Now imagine a fleshed out open world, sandbox game running on next generation hardware. No wonder fans are getting speculative.

8. Dance Central 4

There are a few reasons why this would be a good guess for a launch title. Kinect fans (yes they exist) use Dance Central 3 as an example of Kinect done right. Not to mention that Dance Central 3 actually has an active online community and developer Harmonix fuels this community. Harmoix followed through with their announcement that Dance Central 3’s on going downloadable content would end in March. They also recently posted a job opening on their website for a software engineer to work on an IP for the next-generation hardware. This makes even more sense when you factor in the rumors of a Just Dance 5. Ubisoft’s Just Dance 4 is Dance Central 3’s main competitor. In the increasingly competitive genre of motion dance games and Microsoft desire to fuel the Kinect 2 it is hard to imagine XBOX would want to miss the sales that come with a new Dance Central game.
