Bran Stark (Issac Hempstead-Wright)
Suffering strange visions Bran, the son of Eddard and Catelyn Stark, remains at Winterfell with his younger brother Rickon. He has a direwolf called Summer. He was permanently crippled at the beginning of Season One when Jaime Lannister pushed him from a tower window after he accidently encountered Cersie and Jamie having sex. His connection to the supernatural grows stronger everyday and he has formed a strange friendship with the captive wildling girl now servant at Winterfell.
Joffrey Baratheon (Jack Gleeson)
Joffrey, Crown Prince of the Seven Kingdoms and the eldest of Cersei Lannister’s children is a cruel, manipulative, pampered youth and a coward. He becomes the King against King Robert’s will after his death. He is a Puppet King in his mother Cersei’s hands. He is responsible for Ned Stark’s execution although he promised Sansa, his betrothed, he would spare her father’s life. He had Ned Stark executed against the wishes of his mother. His uncles Renly and Stannis challenge his claim to the Iron Throne.
Rickon Stark (Art Parkinson)
Richon is the youngest Stark child and has a black direwolf named Shaggydog. Direwolves will play a more significant role in Season Two.
