There is some weird stuff too, guys dressed like Rogue from the X Men, some kind of homo-erotic pit where costumed buffoons can smack the shit outta one another with plastic swords, some jackass doing the most obnoxious impression of the Joker all day long and people who smell like garbage. Its more good than bad though and you will won’t regret geeking out so long as you keep your head on your shoulders. There is something for everyone; I even found a group running tournaments for Street Fighter x Tekken, Ultimate Marvelvs Capcom and Starcraft. It’s getting more grandiose every year which leads me to believe that one Fan Expo a year isn’t enough, don’t make the mistake of assuming this is a poor man’s Fan Expo, you’ll miss out.

Vendors abound, that’s one thing you can be sure of at a comic book convention – that there will be people hawking stuff everywhere. Overpriced food too, if you ever wanted to pay ten dollars for a hotdog you know where to go. But you’re no sucker and based on your cholesterol level I’d imagine you save that ten bucks for some goodies, at least I did.
