Up and Coming at
TIFF 2010: 127 Hours

Posted 13 years ago by myetvmedia

The 35th annual Toronto International Film Festival is just around the corner and the buzz is building for this year’s big films. My ETV Media is here to provide you with three of our favourite picks on what are sure to be great films at this year’s festival.

127 Hours

Director: Danny Boyle

USA, 2010 • English

Danny Boyle took top honours at this year’s Oscars for “Slumdog Millionaire”, his latest outing, “127 Hours” could be a sleeper hit at this year’s festival. This film is based on the true story of Aron Ralston, an American backpacker who gets stuck on one of his dangerous treks when a boulder falls on him, crushing his arm. James Franco will help bring this true gruesome story to life, in an effort to show what human resolve is all about. What would you do to survive? We are looking forward to Boyle’s vision of this amazing story.
