“Space Ibiza Festival” First Time – Toronto, Canada

The unofficial ‘party capital of the world’ for electronic music is located on a tiny island off the coast of Spain. The beautiful Ibiza Island has gained international acclaim as the elite playground for the rich and famous. Those seeking to let loose under the sun at the beautiful beaches by day and get down in arguably the best clubs in the world by night are beckoned by the steady 4-4 pulse of Ibiza Island, Spain. Unfortunately Ibiza for many could be ‘Never Never Land’. Like many ‘in demand’ destinations Ibiza comes with a very demanding price tag. The unequivocal demand to visit the island to enjoy the summer music programming has made a trip to this Latin paradise financially ‘out of reach’ to the average house music enthusiast, until now.

“Vibrations” owners Marc Rosenfield & Afif Khan have come up with a solution that has made getting to this ‘Never Never Land’ as easy for you as it was for Peter Pan. On May 28th for one night, Marc and Afif of “Vibrations” transformed Sound Academy (formerly docks) into Toronto’s first official Ibiza Club Tour destination. Sparing no expense on what has made Ibiza’s nightlife so popular the Vibrations team presented a music program that was a truly worthy extension of the Space Ibiza Franchise. A world-class lineup of international performers supported by the finest local talent made the unprecedented event and undisputed success.

Space resident, winner of best Ibiza dj in 2010, and what some would say is a personification of Ibiza Island itself, Dj Camilo Franco, headlined in the house room accompanied by Oliver Ingrossio and Toronto’s home town house music production master Adam K. The electronica and dub step room seemed like a shoebox when the obviously underestimated fan base squeezed in to catch Bare Noize and Chrispy the protagonists.

The main room was an ode to tech house and techno and presented masters at there craft. Germany’s prodigal sons Phillip Jung and Patrick Bodner of M.A.N.D.Y. literally turned on the Toronto crowd from the first beat to the last. For most this performance would have been a nightmare to follow but fortunately Sweden’s own prodigal Techno son, Adam Beyer only elevated the already very engaged crowd. MyeETVmedia’s team was on site and will take you inside Space Ibiza Toronto for exclusive interviews and behind the scenes action. Tune in and let ‘Hondo’ our host for the night take you on the journey for the first time or relive the magic.

Enjoy everyone this is truly OFF THE HOOK
