IDS, Canada’s premiere international platform for interior design Jan. 24-27th, 2013 at the Toronto Convention Centre. IDS (Interior Design Show) is one of North America’s three major Interior Design Shows and it kicks off the season in a spectacular way. The two other major Interior Design Shows are ICFF NYC (May) and IDS West, Vancouver (Sept). Now in its 3rd year Toronto Offsite Design Festival TODO 21st - 27th Jan. 2013 is a new and separate addition to the city’s interior design events running simultaneously with IDS.

The VIP IDS Opening Night Party is an absolute must, time to dress up and rub shoulders with the elite of the interior design industry including clients, industry, media, artists, architects and designers. FRIDAY TRADE DAY is reserved for professional members of the design trade. If you could clone yourself you would want to be at all the keynote presentations at the AZURE TRADE TALKS so plan on having a team approach to getting the most out of the show. In addition to floor exhibits and features, the day includes the Trade Talks Speakers Series, the IDS Booth Awards and Design Awards.

Oki Sato is the head designer for Japanese design firm Nendo, works in Toronto, Canada. He was voted; one of “The 100 Most Respected Japanese” by Newsweek Magazine (2006), “Designer of the Year” by Wallpaper magazine (2012) and Elle Decor International Design Award’s “Designer of the Year” (2012).
Jerszy Seymour is the co-director at the new Applied Art and Design Master’s at the Sandberg Institute/Reitveld Academy in Amsterdam. He is the Winner the prestigious Dedalus Award for European Designer of the Year 2000, winner the Taro Okamoto Memorial Award for Contemporary Art (2003). In 2011 and creator “The Dirty Art Department” program (2011).
