The designers, media and the models have arrived; the big marquee tent and media screens are up at David Pecaut Square. Chic after parties and cocktails parties are filling everyone’s agenda. Things look fabulous, social media is abuzz and WMCFW has a real international feel to it.

Opening night of World Master Card Fashion Week - It’s almost hard to put into words how excited we are for the 5 days of S/S13 Runways, Studio Shows, after parties, oh, and FASHION, taking place from Monday Oct 22- 26 right here in Toronto, Canada.  

Known previously as “Toronto Fashion Week” The semi-annual Toronto Fashion showcase’s title sponsorship been passed around more times than a newborn baby. World Master Card’s take over has seemed to pay off for the largest fashion show in Canada, taking the portfolio global. WMFW has introduced “Stylicity”: a platform that allows consumers direct access to the Runway styles, and gives Canadian designers an extra boost of marketing power that is greatly welcomed by the industry. myETVmedia is presenting WMCFW UNZIPPED.

The legacy that former Fashion Week owner- Fashion Design Council of Canada operator, Robin Kay built, has been taken over by IMG World, the same company responsible forNew York Fashion Week. It’s been sparkled up and given an extra dose of shine to solidify it’s title as the second largest fashion show in North America. (Watch out NYC – we’ve got you on our radar!)  But enough about the politics, let’s talk Fashion!
