Paul Watson has unfortunately been imprisoned for his work and is under international indictment because Sea Shepherd is actually making a difference. They reduced Japan’s whaling haul to 1/5^th in 2011 of their allowance in Antarctic waters. Their goal is to prevent Japan from taking any whales.
