Devlyn Van Loon’s “Grist was the collection to covet. A mixture of fine tailoring and raw, almost D.I.Y pieces were so relatable that it was a collection I might hope to find looking through my closet. (The all black added to that extra sense of “hey don’t you belong to me?!) Not quite editorial, but I’m behind the camera, so ifVan Loon wants to courier anything over to me I wouldn’t say no. Cough, ahem, cough.

Sad to say it’s going to be another year until the next AOF hits Nuit Blanche, and hopefully we’ll be seeing more from these great Canadian designers, but until then check out the video and get online to vote for Most Promising Canadian Designer while there’s still time! We are not going to tip our hat and tell you who we have picked just yet.
