3&2.The Coats:
Billy Reid
While James Bond dons many a jacket in the film it was truly the dashing, fitted silhouette ‘Billy Reid’ Pea Coat that shone. For the filming of Skyfall, Billy Reid provided multiple versions of the aptly named “ Bond Pea Coat” some in medium sizes for those debonair “hero” shots and in large sizes for optimal movement during action scenes. The “Bond Pea coat” is a limited edition, slightly shorter version of the classic ‘Billy Reid’ Pea coat. Made of 100% wool, there were only 150 versions of these Italian-made jackets, so finding one is extremely difficult. Leave it up to Bond.
Barbour: Thanks to its penchant for waterproof oilcloth material the Barbour brand is synonymous with English fashion. Barbour’s fitted Beacon Heritage Collection was an ideal choice for the scenes in Scotland, where Temime needed outfits that she said:
“…had to be something that you could have found there — so, completely unfashionable — and at the same time it had to be very fashionable, because it’s Bond.”
