Bal en Blanc 2012 18th Edition Review

Posted 11 years ago by myetvmedia

This celebration of life is a truly evolving event. Montreal’s 18th Edition of Bal en Blanc was unlike anything else. The musical programing that caters to the masses was impeccable this year. The night began with headline DJ’s Steve Angello (Swedish House Mafia) in the House Room and similarly Armin Van Burin in the Trance room. Both DJs are undisputed leaders in their field and proved why they deserve that recognition. Following Steve Angello was Freddie Le Grand the perfect bridge before Danny Tenaglia who simply showed why he is considered one of the greatest house music DJ’s ever.

Similarly in the Trance room things got a lot darker when Marcus Schultz threw down his brand of hypnotic rhythms to curve the crowd forFerry Corsten the Dutch trance master.

Why is this programming so important?  Why is this significant? The answer is simple; after 18 years the event programmers know how to program the night so it comes alive as Bal en Blanc. The English translation does this event no justice because it is far more than just a “White Party.

This year’s costumes where amazing as the crowd once again came prepared for the masquerade. Check out the myETVmedia video and the pics and get a glimpse into this refined world of musical mastery and event coordination. Enjoy.

See you all here in Montreal for Bal en Blanc next year.
