Pierce Brosnan was the first 007 to have a truly mobile phone. It was a concept phone designed by Ericsson. A few years later the Ericson R380 production model appeared which had many of the features of the Bond original, except of course not the stun gun, fingerprint scanner, lock pick and remote control for a BMW 750iL.

In Quantum of Solace (2008), Daniel Craig’s gadget-free Bond does possess a mobile and it’s still a Sony Ericsson phone. It´s one of only a fewBond gadgets that you and I can actually buy, although the sale model may not include theinjectable sensor that monitors vital signs and transmits them back to HQ for emergency diagnostic testing.
