“La Luna” by Enrico Casarosa. It is a completely magical movie and thoroughly enchanting.
“A Morning Stroll” by Grant Orchard and Sue Goffe. This is a very unusual and surprisingly lighthearted movie. The creators change its style completely from pencil animation, to flash animation to CG over the course of the story but it works very well.
“Wild Life” by Amanda Forbis and Wendy Tilby. Wild Life is the National Film Board’s second nominee in the short film category. It is a lovely and engaging story almost like an excerpt from a journal of someone who lived at that time and moment. The animation is detailed and superb.
