Skyfall Fashion Moments for the Villain and Bond Temptress:

The Print Shirt:

Javier Bardem as Silva gave one of the most convincingly disturbing portrayals of a Bond villain yet and his light hued wardrobe was a purposeful choice to show the stark contrast to his inner dark intentions. All of the suits were custom made for Bardem. The loud printed “nouveau riche” silk shirt Silva is wearing when we first encounter him on the Island was none other than a design from Prada.

The Dragon Dress:

Severine (Berenice Marlohe) made a distinct impression on viewers with her “dragon-lady” nails and Swarovski bejeweled dress. Temime spent over six months creating the ‘one of a kind’ gown that Severine wears in the Casino scene. Over 60,000 Swarovski Elements Crystals were sewn into the gown, and the dragon detailing on the back was created to personify the character upon first sight.

The Robe:

Marlohe’s character Severine, was a fashion show stopper, and the Carine Gilson silk robe, featured in the yacht scene, only added to my secret desire to be a Bond Girl (okay, not so secret.) The Belgium designed couture lingerie collection is only available in Belgium and Paris which makes the line all the more desirable. The Couture Silk gown is from Gilson’s Spring/Summer 2011 collection, which is full of delicate sheer separates in creams, black and lace everywhere. Totally Bond Girl worthy.

The Nails:

Skyfall’s Makeup artist, Naomi Donne with the help of OPI, designed the two-toned dagger like nails. OPI released a “Skyfall” inspired collection of nail hues, which features colours like “Goldeneye” and “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service”. Marlohe can be seen wearing the colour “Skyfall” on the outside and “The Spy Who Loved Me” on the inside.
